@Sammie: Absolutely right, there are too many people pointing the accusing finger who have themselves been very naughty in the past. Hence the assertion, this was never truly about that transaction.

Agreed totally. We Kenyans, of goldfish memory, always fall for the sensational issues, while the real issues are ignored.
For instance, who is jirongo to castigate Kimunya… remember Y2k debacle? What came out of the Goldenberg saga? The police forensic labs? the land commission, the election probe? All the corruption cases in court, taxation of MPs? All the while “Civil” societies are demonstrating about all the wrong things. Seen Maina Kiai lately? a beaten dog. Ask him what happened when he went to visit the IDP camps. At least he woke up to the realities.
